Stone: Onyx is a variety of the microcrystalline quartz, called chalcedony. The name “chalcedony” comes from Calcedon or Chalcedon, an ancient port on the Sea of Marmara in Asia Minor. Made out of volcanic glass, sand and other minerals all purified in fire.
Properties: Onyx is a stone of self-mastery. The stone also imparts great strength and improves self-confidence allowing the user full control of their surroundings.
Sizing Guide
For a frame of reference a dime is about 18 millimeters. 8 millimeters is a good size for the average wrist. 6 millimeters are usually preferred by women. And10 millimeters are for those that have an average male wrist size but like the look of bigger beads; or for those with above average wrist sizes.
