A fantastic enameled locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is made of 15kt yellow gold and is oval in shape. A beautiful striped black enamel pattern accents the front and back surface of the piece and a fine etched design carries along the sides. The piece opens to reveal 2 glass covers spaces, one side with a hair memorial. The locket hangs from a simple gold bail which is perfect for hanging from a simple chain. It's a wonderful piece and would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The locket hangs 1 3/8" long, is 3/4 at the widest point and 3/16" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the locket or to the enamel surface. It opens easily and stays securely closed.
